This year is an eventful year for Indonesia, as the public has elected a new president to serve the country. The inauguration of the new administration will take place in Jakarta, with the new president and the running mate sworn in on October 20, 2024. As was the case with all previous inaugurations, many head of states and invited parties will thus be attending the ceremony, meaning that there will be an influx of unique traffic into the capital. Let's simulate this once-every-5-years event: if you are flying with charters/bizjets/private jets, fly into Halim, and if you are flying commercial airliners, fly into Soekarno-Hatta!
